Financial Aid
Net Price Calculator

Please note: Estimates derived from this net price calculator apply to full-time, first-time degree-seeking undergraduate students only. To receive federal, state, and/or university need-based financial aid, students must be U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens. Estimates are not applicable to:

  • Students not eligible to receive federal student aid; or
  • Students who receive competitive merit scholarships based solely on athletic or artistic ability or academic qualifications.

Estimates do not include financial aid from private sources, or tuition remission. External awards may affect the composition of a Financial Aid Summary. Estimates may be less accurate or not relevant for families with complex financial situations (business losses, rental properties, S-corporations, etc.).

These estimates DO NOT represent a final determination, or actual award, of financial assistance or a final net price. Estimates are based on the cost of attendance and financial aid provided to students in 2023-2024. Cost of attendance and financial aid availability changes year to year.

Not all students receive financial aid. In 2023-2024, more than two-thirds of our full-time students enrolling for college for the first time received need- and/or merit-based federal, state and institutional grant or scholarship aid.

Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to determine their eligibility for financial aid, which includes federal grant, loan, or work-study assistance under Title IV of the Higher Education Act. Please visit www.fafsa.gov for more information about applying for federal student aid. Students must meet all USC priority application deadlines to be considered for all financial aid programs.

These estimates shall not be binding on the Secretary of Education, the State of California, or the University of Southern California.
